A native Portland Oregonian, Douglas Remington has been tramping around the American West creating photographs since a late teen. The spirit of what he calls "Ethereal Light" is beautifully revealed in his state-of-the-art Type C photographs.

Beyond the realm of visual alchemy, Douglas is a hobbyist Beekeeper, and maintains an interest in Fine Cuisine, Bladesmithing, Metalsmithing, Philosophy, History, Mythology, and Symbolism.

Additionally, Remington can periodically be found playing original music with his guitars at local pubs and the Influence Art Gallery in downtown Hillsboro. Douglas was recently chosen to provide background guitar tracks for the city of Seattle’s Pioneer Square Audio tour. Furthermore, he is an avid maker of Mead, Wine, Port, and Ale.
